Commissioner Joe Vigliotti, and I had the opportunity to meet with the Former Students and Friends of Robert Moton High School to discuss the status and future of the Moton Museum project. The meeting was productive and brought together several community partners, including the Historical Society of Carroll County, Union Mills Homestead, and the Community Media Center of Carroll County. These organizations share a commitment to preserving and celebrating the rich history and stories that have shaped our community. The Moton Museum will represent an important opportunity to honor local history, educate future generations, and create a lasting community resource. It is an honor to be involved in helping move this project forward and to work alongside so many dedicated individuals and organizations who are passionate about preserving our heritage.
