Voting is a constitutional right bestowed on us by our forefathers. When exercising our right to vote, we don't "halfway" check the box. Shouldn't we, as citizens, expect that our elected officials be fully committed to the position at hand? My opponent, Dennis Frazier had filed for Carroll County Public Schools Superintendent —a position that has a base salary of $190,000.
According to the Carroll County Times' article dated Feb. 7, Dennis Frazier is "planning to get out and talk with the community, and see what their concerns are." I'm curious why after three and a half years in office he doesn't have his finger on the pulse of the community and doesn't seem to be actively listening during his tenure.
